Primary Duty/Job Statement
The Accountant I performs complex accounting activities by managing and meeting deadlines related to preparing accurate financial statements, which includes creating monthly journal entries, updating fixed assets, and answering audit requests. This position handles confidential and sensitive information requiring a high degree of discretion.
Essential Functions

- Preparing Financial Statements
- Period and year end closing duties such as GAAP journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, statement preparation, and distribution of financial reports
- Manage fixed asset tracking and reconciliation including construction in progress
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy
- Prepare variance analysis by researching and interpreting data
- Review, verify, and record year-end adjustments
- Create archives of financial documentation in repository
- Follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for multiple private entities
- Document procedures and maintain/enhance internal controls
- Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
- Relate knowledge of business and accounting practices, policies, regulations and procedures, and accounting systems to the needs of the business
- Utilization of multiple interfaces and software programs
- Collaboration
- Participate in and provide support for internal and external audits
- Research accounting questions as needed
- Prepare documentation for tax accountants

- The typical workweek is Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a standard range of 40-48 hours or however much is needed to meet deadlines.
- Close cycle is the first 10 business days of the month. No vacation requests will be approved during this time. Exceptions will be made for extenuating circumstances, i.e. illness, and other emergencies.
Preferred Minimum Experience/Education/Skills

Primary Duty/Job StatementIn a safety-sensitive position, the District Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight, training, and development of all Drivers and Driver Trainers within their assigned district. Additionally, the position is tasked with ensuring a high level of consistency while enforcing company policies and procedures, and the effective management of company resources.
Essential Functions

- Conduct interviews, onboarding, and training for newly hired Drivers.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements
- Safely operate tractor-trailer unit within terminal premises, and drive equipment safely over roadways to either test drive or deliver to outside shop for tire maintenance and repairs.
- Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and physical strength to lift heavy objects and work with tools and equipment.
- Must be able to stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface, bend, reach, climb, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side to side and able to perform heavy lifting (100+ pounds) on a regular basis.
- Meet DOT physical and medical requirements.
- Regular business hours are Monday thru Friday: 8am – 5pm. Ability to work flexible schedule as needed, which may include weekends and/or nights.
- This position is required to answer and respond to after–hours urgent requests.
- This position regularly works 50 hours per week.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred 5 years of truck and trailer mechanical experience.
- Experience with any brand of maintenance software.
- Experience maintaining 406 Tanker preferred.

Description
Primary Duty/Job Statement
This safety-sensitive position is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining company owned equipment in an assigned geographical area safely, and efficiently. Equipment refers to; truck-tractors, tank trailers, light duty vehicles, and related shop equipment. Maintain complete, timely, and accurate records on all maintenance performed. Troubleshoot and diagnose any mechanical, electrical, or other breakdown, or failure of equipment. Proper use of both power and hand tools to repair or replace defective components of equipment. This position requires frequent travel.
Essential Functions
- Maintains equipment operation by completing inspections and required preventive maintenance. Corrects vehicle deficiencies, adjustments and alignments, and keeps accurate records.
- Manage maintenance task priorities and adjust work assignments in real time to meet dispatch requirements.
- Communicate with dispatch and operations management to identify and secure the equipment needed for out?of?service repairs
- Review driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR) within assigned geographical area and create action plans for repair.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Specialist, Scheduling, Dispatch, and District Ops to discuss vendor repair work.
- Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.
- Review work orders for accuracy, including all parts used, and ensure work orders are closed daily.
- Ensure all equipment complies with DOT federal and state regulations (within assigned area).
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
